Dr. Tessa Stark grew up in Saskatchewan, where she completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Physiology and Pharmacology. Throughout her degree, she gained an appreciation for the complexity of the human body. She became fascinated with ways in which she could optimize her own health through nutrition, orthomolecular medicine, botanical medicine, and other therapeutic interventions. When Dr. Stark learned about naturopathic medicine, she knew immediately that it was a profession that completely resonated with everything she believed in.
As a naturopathic doctor, Dr. Stark believes in looking at the whole person and not just their presenting symptoms. She looks at her patients’ lifestyle, diet, sleeping habits, mental state, emotional state, and support network. She works with her patients to understand what their goals are and how they can work together to accomplish them.
Dr. Stark has a passion for helping people elevate their lives. She believes that people often do not realize how good they can really feel, look, and perform when given the right tools. She loves helping her patients get back to who they are by creating meaningful change physically, mentally, and emotionally.
Dr. Stark’s areas of focus include longevity, aesthetic medicine, skin health, digestive health, weight loss, and cognitive performance. She has completed additional training in bioidentical hormone therapy, intravenous vitamin therapy, and aesthetic procedures (botox, dermal fillers, and PRP therapy). Currently, she is also completing a fellowship in anti-aging, metabolic, and functional medicine (FAAMFM) through the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine. As a longevity-focused doctor, she is dedicated to providing patient care that is innovative, comprehensive, and personalized.
